Linkify is committed to "High Integrity Privacy." We respect your privacy and are dedicated to protecting any personal information that may be involved during your use of the app. This policy explains our approach to data collection, usage, and local storage. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Local Storage

All the data you enter to generate social media links (e.g., usernames, phone numbers, custom messages) is processed and stored strictly locally on your device.

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your generated links or personal data on external servers.
• The data may be temporarily stored using local device storage (shared_preferences) solely to remember your inputs between sessions and remains entirely under your control.

Third-Party Store Information

We do receive certain non-personal information from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including:

• Download metrics and installation statistics.
• Ratings and written reviews.
• Anonymized crash reports (to help us identify and fix technical issues).

We use this information solely to improve the app’s performance and respond to user feedback.

Analytics and Tracking

To understand how our app is used and to improve the user experience, we utilize Google Analytics for Firebase.

• What we collect: Google Analytics collects non-personal, anonymized data related to app usage, such as screens visited, session duration, and general interaction patterns.
• What we DO NOT collect: We explicitly do not use Analytics to collect any personal identifying information, your generated social links, or any other sensitive user-generated content. All such data remains strictly local to your device.
• Purpose: The data collected via Analytics is used solely for internal analysis to enhance the app's performance, identify areas for bug fixes, and optimize the interface.

Use of Information

The local data on your device is used strictly for the app’s functionality (generating URLs and QR codes). Information received from app stores and anonymous analytics data collected via Google Analytics are used to improve the overall user experience and ensure platform stability.

Disclosure of Information

We do not disclose your information to third parties. We do not sell or trade any data. Information is only disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data Retention and Deletion

• User Data: Since your generated links and inputs are stored locally, deleting the Linkify app from your device will permanently remove all saved information.
• Store Data / Analytics: We do not retain personal identifiers from store-provided metrics or Google Analytics.

Permissions

• Internet Access: Required for generating dynamic web links, sharing, and loading analytics.
• Storage/Files: Required to persist your inputs across app sessions and to save generated QR codes to your device gallery.

Security

We employ modern development practices to ensure your data is handled securely. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we recommend using device-level security (passcodes/biometrics) to protect your hardware.

Children’s Privacy

Linkify is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use the app.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Updates will be indicated by a new version number or date at the top of the policy.
